Who we are

The main objects of the Association are:

  • To advance the work of the Church of Uganda by encouraging awareness, informed prayer, interest and financial support

  • To encourage links with and between Ugandan Christians in Britain

  • To have an informed concern for the wider Christian scene in Uganda and the well-being of people in every part of Uganda

  • To foster strategic relationships and project support in Uganda

Our current membership includes both many from the UK who have worked in Uganda (or visited it) and also a number of Ugandan Christians who are currently based in the UK.   We are also very happy to consider  membership from fellowships of Ugandan Christians in this country and other Christian organisations who share our aim.

The Uganda Church Association is a registered charity No 1015425

UCA is managing a new collaborative website, Uganda Networks, which aims to promote partnership working and information sharing amongst the hundreds of charities, churches, schools and universities as well as other not-for-profits, who are engaged in social, economic and spiritual development in Uganda. The site enables users to see who is doing what where in Uganda, and gives access to Ugandan news, relevant resources and services, and a place for members to advertise and share opportunities, and exchange views and information through discussion forums. Organisations working in and with Uganda can join Uganda Networks, and put information about their partners and projects on the map. Find out more here. Individuals can also join a free mailing list, to receive regular email newsletters.  To find out more, visit www.ugandanetworks.org
